To celebrate, the store will be handing out golden envelopes containing special tickets to win a range of prizes including a 55in HD TV, a 40in HD Ultra 4k TV and bags of Aldi shopping to the first 100 people in the queue on opening day.
As part of its work within the local community, Aldi has invited Action for Children to the store opening, where the group will be presented with a cheque to support their ongoing activities in the area.
Action for Children has seven centres across Kettering to support young families.
Aldi will be providing a product donation to Greenfields Primary School to support their Christmas Fair, which also takes place on December 3.
The opening of the Stanier Retail Park store has created 70 jobs for the area and Aldi is still recruiting for a variety of roles in the Kettering area.
Further details and how to apply can be found at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.
The store will be served by 189 car parking spaces and will feature about 1,500 product lines, where customers can expect a wide range of high quality and locally sourced produce.
Aldi store manager Marvin Aldred said: “We’re looking forward to the opening of our second store in Kettering and we’re sure the local community will enjoy our grand opening celebrations with 100 golden tickets up for grabs.
“We expect to see plenty of shoppers on Thursday take advantage of our opening week offers, in addition to our range of products at everyday low prices.”
