Get ready for Wellingborough's Dino Week

Special visitors are heading to Wellingborough this May half-term

Dino Week arrives at the Swansgate Shopping Centre from Monday, May 30, to Friday, June 3, when there will be a mega-saurus week of dinosaur fun, crafts and activities arriving from 10am to 3pm daily.

On Wednesday, June 1, the closest thing to a real dinosaur will be arriving at the Swansgate, as a T-Rex will be roaming the malls at intervals throughout the day.

He’ll be joined by his cute baby raptor friends, plus the chance to dig for fossils.

Centre manager Lindsay Tickner said: “May half term is bringing lots of fun to the Swansgate, and we can’t wait to welcome our special T-Rex friend to the centre!

“We hope to see lots of our younger shoppers join us for a week of dino activities.”

All craft events will take place from 10am to 3pm in the children’s area by Roman and Specsavers and will include plasticine dinosaur making, card decorating and dinosaur mask making.
