Generosity of town thanked

4Corby Children, a local charity created to represent the hopes and wishes of local young families, has thanked everybody who supported their January drive to collect donations for Home-Start Corby and Corby Foodbank.

4Corby Children was collecting items for Home-Start Corby and Corby Foodbank.

Katherine Rutter, from the charity, said: “With their help, we were able to collect a wide variety of goods that will be gratefully appreciated by families in need across Corby.”

Home Start Corby is a home visiting service which offers befriending and support to all families across the borough of Corby where there is at least one child under the age of five.

Corby Foodbank works in partnership with local churches and organisations to provide food parcels for local families at times of crisis.
