More than 120 Highland dancers and nine pipe bands will be taking part in Corby’s annual Highland Gathering this weekend.
The popular event returns to Charter Field in Corby Old Village on Sunday.
As well as the Highland dancers and pipe bands, there will be the Stevens Funfair, side stalls, haggis burgers and representatives from RBW, the new restaurant which has just opened as part of the new cinema complex in Corby town centre.
There will also be live music in the Cardigan Arms, Ex-Service Men’s Club, Village Inn and White Hart.
Sections of Rockingham Road, Lloyds Road and the Jamb will be closed off from 9am while the event is taking place during the day.
Admission is £4 for adults and £1 for children.
One adult can take up to four children with them for £5 and two adults with up to five children for £10.
Numerous businesses and organisations have shown support for this year’s event, including Savoy Cinema, Baileys Skips, Grampian Club Corby, Hadden Butchers, AJ Carter Funeral Services, Velvet Glove Corby and Central Autopoint Corby.
Anyone wanting to offer sponsorship, have a stall at the event or take their organisation along to it can get in touch with Mark Pengelly on 07760 434896.
