Staff and students at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy are celebrating the best ever set of results with more than 70 per cent of students achieving A* to C in English and more than 70 per cent scoring A* to C in maths.
Using the government’s preferred measure of progress, the academy is ahead of the national average with both English and Mathematics achieving around 80 per cent.
Executive principal Victoria Bishop said: “These successes are down to the hard work and dedication of the wonderful students, staff and parents at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy.
“We would like to congratulate our students and look forward to seeing them return to our sixth form in September.”
