More than 70 per cent of students at Huxlow Science College in Irthlingborough achieved at least eight GCSEs in another successful year of results.
Head teacher Steve Gordon said: “Students, their families and college staff have been rewarded for all of their hard work with an excellent set of exam results this year.
“We are delighted with the results the students have achieved and wish them the very best in the next phase of their education.
“As ever, we are always proud of the achievements of the Year 11 students and they have been a credit to the college across the year – they have done themselves, their families and the college proud with some students achieving some truly outstanding results.”
Mr Gordon said 97 per cent of students gained at least five GCSE passes and of those 72 per cent gained at least eight passes.
A total of 63 per cent of students gained five or more A* to C passes and of those, 54 per cent gained five or more passes including English and Maths.
Students Jack Terry, Rosemary Osborne and Michaela O’Callaghan achieved A or A* passes in every subject and Santhi Nalukurthy, Nicola Parker and Jade Thurnham achieved A and A* passes in eight of their nine subjects.
