Students and staff at Brooke Weston Academy are celebrating their fantastic set of GCSE results for 2016.
Eighty-three per cent of Year 11 students secured A* to C grades or equivalent, in five or more subjects.
Seventy-seven per cent of the cohort secured English, mathematics and at least three other GCSEs or Level 2 qualifications.
Impressively, almost a quarter of all grades awarded were A*s, A or a distinction.
Fourteen students achieved 10 or more A*/A or distinction grades each.
The joint top performing students, Lauren Coull and Lydia Pouncey, each achieved nine A*s and two A graded GCSEs and a distinction in ICT.
Bethan Lewis accomplished eight A*s, three A graded GCSEs and a distinction in ICT.
James Walton is also celebrating the achievement of eight A*s, two A graded GCSEs and a distinction in ICT.
Year 10 students William Ho and George Tysoe achieved A* graded GCSEs a year earlier than normal.
Winston Ho from Year 10 also achieved an A* GCSE and a B graded AS Level.
Associate principal Sam Strickland said: “We would like to praise our students on their efforts and achievements.
“The range of success is extremely satisfying and our congratulations go to everyone who has worked so hard to gain these excellent results.
“They demonstrate that commitment from students, combined with dedication and expertise of staff, can improve life chances for young people.
