GCSE students at the Ferrers School have been opening their exam envelopes and enjoying the reward for all their hard work over the past two years.
With improved overall pass rates and an increase in the number of students getting five good GCSE grades, there was an excited, celebratory atmosphere in the school this morning.
Headteacher Jonathan Giles said: “It is always such a pleasure to see happy students on results day.
“The students and teachers have worked so hard together to achieve these results.
“They deserve to celebrate this success.”
