Dozens of people took advantage of free health checks on offer.
Kettering Council organised a health screening event in Horsemarket last Thursday, which was attended by about 40 people.
It gave them a chance to talk to experts about healthy lifestyles, diets and nutrition.
Students from Moulton College were on hand to offer help and advice.
People also had the chance to have their blood pressure taken and were given an estimation of their healthy weight.
David Staff, from community services at the council, said: “It was a really successful day and we’ve had a lot of good feedback from those that came.
“It’s important to encourage a healthy lifestyle, with events like the Sport Relief Mile coming up.”
