Raunds mayor Cllr Helen Howell said: “I’m thrilled to be launching what I hope will become an annual event for the town.

“We’ve packed the show with some fantastic acts which everyone can enjoy.”

Attractions already confirmed include falconry displays, live music, children’s rides, a bar and food court, petting zoo, archery and kickboxing displays as well as craft stalls, inflatables and a Punch and Judy show.

Cllr Howell added: “We know from our community plan, the Vision For Raunds, that local people wanted to see more events going on in the town, but we also understand how expensive these can be for families to attend.

“That’s why it was so important to me that entrance to the event was free.”

Local firefighters and cadets will be at the show and will be providing a drill display.

Children can join in with sack races egg and spoon races, while adults are invited to get a tug of war team together.
