A Wellingborough man has been given a 54-month jail sentence for intent to supply class A drugs.
Ali Nuruzzaman, 39, of Alexandra Road, was arrested last year following an operation involving four addresses in the area, after officers received intelligence from the local community in relation to suspected drug dealing.
Sergeant Sharan Wildman of Wellingborough Town Safer Community Team said: “I am delighted with this result.
“I would like to thank people from the local community for the part they played in bringing this man to justice.
“I am pleased we have demonstrated that we will act robustly to reports of drug-dealing, and the local community can expect a successful outcome.”
