Former F1 man says drone repair business is ready to take off

The former F1 mechanic, who fast tracked his dream to run his own mobile phone repair business – Spark Angels, now hopes his new drone repair service will take off!

After working for many years in F1 racing with Red Bull alongside famous faces on the grid, including driving champions, Mark Webber and David Coulthard, Neil changed career direction and set up his own business repairing Apple devices.

Fuelled by success Neil needed to relocate to larger premises in Kettering and has just launched Spark Angels in Pytchley Business Park, Kettering, which is also where the new drone repair service, is based.

The mayor of Kettering, Cllr Scott Edwards, visited Spark Angels in Kettering to meet Neil and his team of technicians and conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially mark the opening of the business at its new larger location.

Neil, managing director of Spark Angels, welcomed the Mayor and announced that drone repairs are the latest service to take flight at Spark Angels, which he hopes will propel his business to another level.

He said: “We are delighted the Mayor of Kettering was able to visit our new Spark Angels premises in Kettering. We are proud to be expanding here in Kettering and within Northamptonshire, where we have Spark Angels businesses in Wellingborough and a new Oundle outlet.

“We constantly want to offer new and innovative services for our business clients and customers. Drone repairs are our latest exciting development, which we hope will take off.”

Cllr Edwards, said: “The fact that Spark Angels is expanding here in Kettering is great and that they are now offering drone repairs is fantastic.

“Drones are locally increasing and becoming more popular, I have a lot of friends who have them and it is great that we have the expertise here in Kettering to be able to fix them.

“I’m very happy to welcome Spark Angels latest services to Kettering, I’m very impressed with the new Spark Angels business location and everyone is very friendly. It is a business I can see expanding in the future which is something I would welcome within Kettering.”
