Changes have been made to the force’s chief officer team following the appointment of Deputy Chief Constable Suzette Davenport as the new Chief Constable of Gloucestershire Constabulary.
DCC Davenport will start her new role on February 4, leaving her current position vacant.
While the recruitment process gets under way, a number of temporary changes have been made to the chief officer team.
From February 1, Assistant Chief Constable Martin Jelley will take on the role of temporary Deputy Chief Constable and Chief Superintendent Paul Phillips will become temporary Assistant Chief Constable.
Assistant Chief Constable Andy Frost will remain in his current position.
Chief Constable Adrian Lee said: “We are fortunate to have senior officers of a very high calibre in Northamptonshire and I know that both ACC Jelley and Chief Supt Phillips will continue our focus on driving down crime and improving trust and confidence.”
