FIVE people were taking to hospital following a crash on a sliproad leading onto the A14.
Two cars were involved in the collision which closed the A14 eastbound between Kettering and Rothwell for a period from about 11.30am.
One of the lanes has since been re-opened but motorists are still caught up in tailbacks.
An air amublance landed at the scene but nobody was airlifted to hospital – three people in one car and two in the other car were taken to Kettering General Hospital.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said that their injuries are not believed to be serious.
