Energy consultancy Utility Bidder is set to be officially welcomed to Corby next week as a ribbon cutting ceremony is held at its new premises in Bangrave Road.
The company, that deals with gas, electricity, telecoms, merchant services and business finance, made the move to the Pearson Academy in Corby this month after out-growing their original premises in Market Harborough.

Corby Council leader Tom Beattie said: “We are very pleased to see more and more companies choose Corby to start up or expand their business, which is a further boost to the borough’s economy.
“Utility Bidder brings with it further local job opportunities which are continuing to be filled.
“We wish the company and all of their employees a bright and successful future here in Corby.”
About 50 jobs are to be created in total.
23 members of staff have already been employed and the company is aiming to fill the rest of the vacancies before Christmas.

Utility Bidder has worked closely with Corby Council and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership which has provided support with the move, identifying premises and through Northamptonshire County Council’s LOCATE programme enabling the expansion that will bring recruitment opportunities in several departments.
There are currently employment opportunities in lead generation and in sales.
