Firefighters called to barn fire between Fotheringhay and Warmington

Fire crews were called to a fire involving 120 tonnes of hay.

Two crews from Thrapston and Corby went out to the blaze just after 5.15am today (Saturday) on the Fotheringhay to Warmington road.

A further appliance from Cambridgeshire came to assist and has since been replaced by a crew from Oundle.

A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze was in a barn containing 120 tonnes of hay and the incident was ongoing.
