Fire crews called after collision near A43

Three rescue crews were called to a road traffic collision near Kettering earlier today (Saturday, January 26).

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue service was called to the two-car incident, just off the A43 near the village of Mawsley, just after 9am this morning.

Two crews, one from Kettering and one from Rothwell, along with a technical rescue vehicle from Mereway, attended the collision.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue said crews halped one person from their vehicle and left them in the care of the ambulance service.
