People can find out more about a special nursing team who work in emergency care at Kettering General Hospital by attending a seminar event.
The free event is being held on Tuesday, June 23, at the Prince William Lecture Theatre at Kettering General Hospital starting at 6.30pm and doors will be open from 5.30pm for refreshments.
The event is for hospital foundation trust members but anyone can join on the day and become a member for free.
The event is being presented by nurse consultant Helen Fawdon, who is leader of the hospital’s advanced clinical practitioner team.
It will cover how the team was formed, how it has developed and the many different ways in which it improves patients’ experience of emergency care.
There are 15 advanced clinical practitioners who have taken over some of the roles traditionally done by junior doctors in A&E and the hospital’s ambulatory care unit.
To become a ember in advance you can contact membership manager Donna Hunnings on 01536 492169.
