Families are invited to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night at Corby’s big free bonfire party which attracts thousands of revellers.
The event on Wednesday, November 5, will start with a torchlight procession from Corby swimming pool to the boating lake, starting at 6.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the spectacular fireworks display will start at 7.30pm.
Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “Every year we see a bigger turn-out than the last so make sure you bring the whole family along for a fantastic evening.”
Fireworks will be set off on Westcott Way, opposite the bonfire. Drivers are asked to use car parks in the town centre. For more information on the event call the Corby Council’s leisure department on 01536 464042.
