Families asked to keep noise down

Residents in Corby are being asked to think of their neighbours and keep noise down.

In the last year the borough council received 383 complaints about noise, with loud music and barking dogs causing the biggest problems.

The council’s lead member for environment, Cllr Paul Beattie, said: “Often people don’t realise how the noise they are making can affect their neighbours.”

People can report concerns over excessive noise to the council by calling 01536 464052.
