Extra police patrols after motorbike nuisance on Wellingborough estate

Police are carrying out extra patrols after reports of motorbike nuisance on a Wellingborough estate.

Officers received several calls about motorcycles, including an off-road motorbike and a quad bike, being ridden in an anti-social manner on the Queensway estate last weekend.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: “On Friday evening, calls from the public led to a motorcycle being recovered outside Diane House shortly after it had been reported stolen from Bell Court.

“Officers will be carrying increased patrols in the area and are encouraging residents to continue to report incidents, or any information about those involved, to police on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”

The incidents took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
