The Stirrup Cup in Barton Seagrave plays host to a special football event on Sunday, July 13, in aid of children’s charity Sparks.
An afternoon with former Liverpool and England striker David Johnson will be complemented by comedian John Stiles.
Johnson also played for Ipswich, Everton and Man City. He won eight England caps, scoring six goals.
Stiles is the son of 1966 World Cup winner Nobby. The Stirrup Cup event starts at 4pm.
