AN extra CCTV camera is to be installed at a county beauty spot after pleas from residents.
East Carlton Park is to get a third camera, to go along with the two which are already in place covering the heritage centre.
The issue was discussed at last month’s meeting of East Carlton Parish Council.
Notices will be displayed at the entrance to the park.
Corby Council’s rural pride officer Suzanne Preston said further cameras are available to buy through the council if they become necessary.
PCSO Mark Tooley also spoke at the meeting.
He was thanked by the parish council for his work, which it says has made a significant contribution to reducing anti-social behaviour at the park.
The Evening Telegraph has previously reported about problems with anti-social behaviour in the park and a call for extra security cameras.
The next meeting of the parish council takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, January 25, at East Carlton Cricket Club.
