A man is wanted as part of an investigation by two councils after a large amount of rubbish was fly-tipped in East Northants.

The waste - including children's toys and a Christmas gift bag - was dumped by the side of the road in Wansford Road, no more than a mile outside Wansford where East Northamptonshire meets Cambridgeshire.

A woman had paid £30 for a man with a van to remove her rubbish, but the man later dumped it.

An East Northamptonshire Council spokesman said: "We are working with Peterborough City Council to identify a suspect who is described as a white male, slim build, tall, scruffy brown hair, late 20s or early 30s with a medium sized tattoo on his neck and driving a white transit van.

"We would like to appeal to the public if they recognise the description of this man."
