Runners from across the county can now get their entries in for the annual Cransley Hospice road race next month.
Since it began in 2001, almost £20,000 a year has been raised by the run, with athletes and marshalls joining forces to raise funds for the hospice.
Two athletes who have already entered are Lisa Irons and Sarah Platts, who work for the hospice’s charity shop and coffee shop respectively.
Lisa said: “I entered the race because I enjoy challenging myself while also being able to make a difference.
“I love running and fundraising so combining both is a bonus.”
Sarah added: “This will be my second year running in the 10km race for Cransley which is always well supported and has a great atmosphere.
“Although it’s tough, it spurs me on when I’m running knowing I am helping to raise money for the hospice.”
Runners can enter online with entrance costing £18, although there is a £2 reduction for affiliated athletes.
The closing date for postal entries is Wednesday, September 16, with runners able to enter on the day for £20 subject to availability.
