An emergency medical team flew to Rockingham circuit in Corby after a man fell off a motorcycle.
The incident happened on Saturday at about 12.20pm when the man, who was in his 30s, was taking part in a bike track day.
He was flown to Peterborough City Hospital where he was treated for back and foot injuries. The team from the emergency medical charity Magpas, Dr Ali Tompkins and volunteer paramedic Adam Carr, administered pain relief at the track before flying him to hospital where his condition was stable on arrival.
A spokesman for Rockingham said: “The air ambulance attended because there was no ground ambulance available. Fortunately the man was not seriously injured.”
Dr Tompkins said: “We wish him a swift recovery.”
