The principal of Lodge Park Academy in Corby is to be responsible for two schools in the county run by the David Ross Education Trust.
Toby Mullins, 51, has been appointed executive principal of Lodge Park and of the Malcolm Arnold Academy in Northampton.
David Ross Education Trust chief executive Wendy Marshall said: “I am delighted to announce that Toby Mullins has been appointed as the trust’s executive principal.
“Alison Hayes, who is currently vice-principal, has been made the academy’s associate principal.
“Toby has made an impressive start at Lodge Park, building on the recent improvements in results and performance.
“He will now be developing a number of key initiatives that the trust is keen to take forward across both academies.
“These include further significant investment across both sites, an improved sixth form offer, and even more enrichment opportunities.”
Mr Mullins took up the role of principal at Lodge Park Academy, in Shetland Way, in January after serving as headmaster of Seaford College, a private school in Chichester, for 16 years.
