There’s no need for youngsters in Corby to be bored during the schools’ Easter break, thanks to a programme of activities organised by the borough council.
From Monday, April 7, until Thursday, April 17, a range of fun water sessions, including swimming lessons and Flip ‘n’ Fun supervised diving will be available at Corby swimming pool.
The council and The Core theatre are also running a special promotion offering youngsters swimming sessions and a chance to see the latest movies. Tickets cost £3.50.
Corby Splat Camp at Lodge Park Sports Centre will also be in full swing for children from six to 14 offering activities including arts and crafts, board games, football, archery, dodgeball, as well as outdoor games.
Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “It is important for children to be active during the holidays and that’s why we organise a range of activities to keep them entertained.”
