Kettering’s Corn Market Hall will be transformed into a music venue next month by two friends who are arranging a gig by one of the UK’s premier blues acts.
King King will be performing from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 3.
The gig has been organised by Dave Morse and Richard Boyles. The pair are hoping to organise several gigs a year, showcasing some of the UK’s best and brightest rock and blues bands.
Next month’s gig is the pair’s first in Kettering, but both Dave and Richard have experience in the music business – Dave as part of 1970s pub rock outfit Skin Tight and Richard as an organiser of gigs in Wilbarston and as the brains behind the Walter Trout international fan club.
Scotland’s King King are two-time winners of Best Band at the British Blues Awards. They will be supported by young blues band Devlin Blue.
Tickets for the gig cost £12 in advance (£15 on door) from www.wegottickets.com. Alternatively, call 07758 886430.
