A youth drumming group which was formed in Irthlingborough five years ago is opening a new branch in Rushden.
Waterloo Drummers and Performing Arts is a volunteer-run group and is open to young people aged from eight to 18. The group runs a marching band of drummers and others who play bell lyres and concert flutes – all of which is accompanied by a dance troupe and colour guard. The new Rushden group will meet on Wednesdays, from April 9, between 6pm and 8pm at the Pemberton Centre in HE Bates Way. For more information about either of the branches, call 01933 412099 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
