Driver seriously injured after King’s Cliffe crash

A driver was seriously injured when their car crossed collided with oncoming traffic.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the serious road traffic collision which took place on Friday, December 20, at about 5.50pm.

A green Ford Fiesta was travelling east on the A47 close to the King’s Cliffe junction when, for reasons yet unknown, the vehicle crossed onto the opposite carriageway.

It collided with a silver Vauxhall Astra and then a grey Land Rover Freelander.

The 30-year-old driver of the Fiesta suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital. The driver of the Astra suffered minor injuries.
