A driver had to be cut free from his car after a serious accident in Sywell Road, Wellingborough, at about 5.35pm on Wednesday, January 9.
The collision involved a blue Volvo S60 being driven by a 25-year-old man and a silver Mercedes C200, being driven by a 42-year-old man.
A police spokesman said: “The Volvo was travelling towards Hardwick Road, when for reasons yet unknown, the driver lost control and collided head-on with the Mercedes, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
“The driver of the Mercedes had to be cut from the vehicle and was taken to Northampton General Hospital with leg injuries.”
