The driver of a bus and two passengers needed treatment for minor injuries after a coach crashed into a wall in Caldecott.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident which happened in Main Street at about 7.30am on Monday (March 24).
A spokesman for Leicestershire Police: “The driver and two passengers were treated for minor injuries and there was no other vehicle involved.”
The bus ploughed into a wall at the home of retired doctor Andrew Davidson, knocking down two sections of the stonework.
He said: “I heard a bang at about 7.30am and went out to see what had happened. No one was badly injured but people seemed to be in shock.
“A young man who was a member of the Armed Forces and who was passing through the village did a tremendous job by stopping the traffic and helping people.
“I have had the corner of my garden wall knocked down time twice before. We’ve campaigned for a bypass but there isn’t the money.”
No one from the bus company was available to comment.
