Irvin’s House of Flavour in High Street, Wellingborough, is running a Christmas quiz in support of the John Radcliffe trauma unit and Higham Gateway Club.

Caroline from Irvin’s House of Flavour said: “It is £2 a sheet, with half of the money going to the John Radcliffe and half going to Higham Gateway Club.

“Sheets have to back to us by Christmas Eve.

“The quiz has been written for us by Pete Austin, who has been one of our customers for 14 years.”

Pete, who used to work for the Northants Telegraph, regularly raises money for the John Radcliffe Hospital where he was treated nearly 20 years ago following an accident.

Caroline added: “Everyone needs a little break every now and then.

“If we can return some support for all the hard work that Pete and Jane do, it would be great.

“We have already sold 50 sheets in two weeks.”

The quiz is £2 to enter with a range of prizes up for grabs.

A number of businesses in the area have donated prizes, including Warwicks, George Alan, The Little Ale House and Rowlatts.

All completed entries will be put into a draw and the winner will be picked at random and notified in January.
