A garage forecourt row has prompted police to issue a witness appeal.

Police in Corby are appealing for people who saw the incident, at the Esso Service Station, Oakley Road, to come forward.

At about 10.20pm on Saturday (February 6) a man and a woman were involved in an altercation on the forecourt.

The woman, who was driving a silver Renault Megane, had an argument with a man, who allegedly jumped on to the roof of the car and caused damage to the windscreen.

There were a number of people at the garage and nearby at the time.

A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
