Houses which could give first-time buyers the chance to get a foot on the property ladder are now available at a new development.

Persimmon Homes Midlands is building more than 200 new houses at Weldon Park in Weldon.

The company says two-bedroom houses can be picked from just £154,950, making them attractive to first time buyers as well as property investors.

Sales manager Janet Robinson said: “Weldon is a very popular village, with demand always high for quality homes here, especially smaller properties for sale or rent.

“Right now we have two-bedroom houses available at Weldon Park for just £154,950, making the development extremely appealing to first-time buyers.

“In fact, with the Government’s Help to Buy scheme available, which means buyers only need a five per cent deposit and can access 75 per cent mortgage deals, it can actually be cheaper to buy than to rent.”

And she added: “The rental market remains very strong in this particular area and we are already receiving strong interest from investors who clearly see the potential that our homes at Weldon Park have.”
