Hardy volunteers almost literally got stuck in to clean up a pocket park.
Desborough Pocket Park received a recent spruce-up thanks to residents who were willing to lend their time and efforts.
The four-acre site is accessed via either Prince Rupert Avenue or Federation Avenue.
Organiser Keith Brown said: “A big thank you to the volunteers who came to our recent working morning.
“We managed to clear the footpaths, and clean the pond.
The volunteers who did the pond work really got stuck in, almost literately!
“But we got them out in time for a well deserved cup of soup at the end of the session.
“With the new fencing in place, and the new dipping platform next to the pond for children, the park is well worth a visit.”
