Staff at a dental practice have taken part in a 26-mile walk to raise funds for a deafblind charity.
Colleagues at Mawsley Dental Clinic took part in the Ridge walk in Oxfordshire last weekend to benefit Sense, which helps people with deafblindness.
More than 350,000 people in the UK are deafblind, with experts predicting the numbers will increase as the population ages.
The clinic is also opening its doors on Saturday, July 20 from 10am to 3pm to offer people an exam with a scale and polish – with payment being in a form of a donation made to Sense.
If the patient does require any further treatment they would need to book this in on a separate occasion. New customers need to call the clinic to book an appointment as there are limited spaces.
For more information call the clinic on 01536 799210.
