Delivery driver's car stolen in Kettering after fake order

A delivery driver returned to find his car had been stolen after a fake order in Kettering.

The incident took place at about 11.45pm on Saturday (September 29) in Havelock Street.

The driver attempted to deliver an order and rang the mobile number the order had been made on.

He was told to go to the rear of the property and left the keys in the ignition of his white Skoda whilst he did so.

The person in the property stated they did not order any food.

On returning, the car had been stolen.

A police spokesman said the car has since been recovered but no arrests have yet been made.
