Day of fun at Kettering pub for Children in Need

A day of festivities at a Kettering pub will raise funds for Children in Need.

Amy Spowart, who works at the Harlequin, in Stamford Road, has been given free reign over the pub by her landlady Sadie Lees to host a variety of activities to raise funds for the charity.

The day’s events will take place over 12 hours of fundraising on Saturday, November 10.

It kicks off with a children and family fun day between midday and 6pm, a sponsored haircut and leg wax from 6pm to 7.30pm, a quiz from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. and a live acoustic set at 9pm to midnight.

She said: “I want to raise as much as possible and I am even donating a day’s wage to the charity.”
