Cyclists take on cobbles for hospice

Two members of Kettering Cycling Club are taking part in a gruelling cycle race in France to raise money for Cransley Hospice.

Jamie Stockham and James Simons-Boswell are riding the route of the classic Paris-Roubaix on Saturday.

The 170km course includes 58km of treacherous cobbles and is known as “the hell of the north”.

The professional cyclists ride the same route the following day.

The pair are riding in memory of Jamie’s father-in-law Adrian Gibbs, who died of cancer in September, and was cared for by the hospice.
