Cyclist in his 20s seriously injured following collision with a car in Northampton

Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision at the junction of Leslie Road and Lower Adelaide Street, Northampton.

At about 1.35pm on Saturday, August 8, a collision occurred between a white bicycle and a red Toyota Yaris.

As a result of the collision, the cyclist – a man in his 20s - sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
