A police investigation is underway after a woman was threatened with a knife in Goldings, Northampton on Sunday (January 24).

The incident took place between 6pm and 6.30pm when a group of 10 to 12 young people - thought to be aged between 14 and 16 - gathered outside a home in Dryley’s Court.

The group was seen to be shouting at the people inside of the residence. A woman, who came out, was then threatened with a knife and then the group left the area.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Anyone who saw the incident, or has information about it, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.”
