A woman was threatened by three young burglars who forced entry to her home in Kettering.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was left in fear after the terrifying incident in Athelstan Road on Sunday night (July 12).

Between 8pm and 9pm she was inside the property when three people forced entry through the back door.

They damaged furniture and stole about £200 in cash from her.

A police spokesman said: "Although the woman wasn’t injured threats were made against her, putting her in fear."

The spokesman added that the burglars were "young boys aged between 15 and 17".
