Woman’s handbag stolen after man pulled it off her shoulder in Northamptonshire

A woman had her handbag stolen after a man pulled it from her shoulder in a Northampton street.

The woman was in Althorp Road, St James, just after 6pm on Tuesday, December 22, when she was approached from behind by a man.

He pulled her bag off her shoulder and ran away along Greenwood Road

He is described as white, slim, about 25-years-old and about 6ft. He had short black hair and was wearing a black padded jacket and black trousers.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows anything about this incident can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
