Woman left "in fear" after man lifts shirt up at her and young daughter in Corby

A man is in custody after allegedly lifting his shirt up towards a mum and her young daughter in Corby yesterday (Sunday).

Police were called to Welland Vale Road after the incident between 12.50pm and 1.10pm when the woman and her child were next to their car.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said they had received no report of indecent exposure but "his behaviour naturally put the woman in fear".

A 45-year-old man has been identified as a suspect and is currently being investigated.

He remains in custody today.
