The following people have been sentenced at magistrates' courts in the county:

Gurpreet Singh

Tower Close, Rushden. Age: 41

Between 23/03/21 and 25/03/21 at Rushden pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of two people by making phone calls, sending messages and attending their home address; were in breach of a suspended sentence.

Plea: Guilty. Jailed for 30 weeks. To pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £128.

Liam Kurs

Rowlett Road, Corby. Age: 20

On 20/01/21 at Weldon drove a BMW whilst disqualified; without insurance; on 30/01/21 at Corby drove whilst disqualified; without insurance; without due care and attention; on 07/03/21 at Corby drove whilst disqualified; when no test certificate had been issued; without insurance; on 11/03/21 at Corby drove whilst disqualified; without insurance.

Plea: Guilty. Jailed for 20 weeks suspended for 18 months. To take part in rehabilitation activities. Banned from driving for 18 months. To pay costs of £340 and a victim surcharge of £128.

Michelle Botterill

Wellington Street, Kettering. Age: 39

On 18/12/20 at Kettering attempted to steal a small bronze dog statue worth £85 belonging to a man.

Plea: Guilty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £22.

Colin Tew

Medina Road, Corby. Age: 46

On 12/03/21 at Manton Road, Corby, were guilty while drunk of disorderly behaviour.

Plea: Guilty. Discharged conditionally for six months. To pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £21.

Daniel Butler

Hyacinth Way, Rushden. Age: 23

On 05/06/20 at Rushden drove a vehicle when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, in blood, namely 9.3ug/l, exceeded the specified limit.

Plea: Guilty. Banned from driving for 18 months. Fined £120, to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.

Vishan Patel

Grendon Drive, Barton Seagrave. Age: 29

On 16/06/20 at Northampton were in possession of 19 bags of cannabis; on 21/08/20 at Northampton drove whilst disqualified; without insurance.

Plea: Guilty. Community order made with 80 hours of unpaid work. To pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Thomas Connolly

St Peter’s Avenue, Kettering. Age: 22

On 31/10/20 at Kettering assaulted a police officer.

Plea: Guilty. Fined £576, to pay compensation of £200, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £58.

Daniel Jones

Milner Road, Finedon. Age: 33

On 21/10/20 at Kettering sent a person a Facebook post which conveyed a message which was indecent or grossly offensive for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient.

Plea: Guilty. Community order made with rehabilitation activities. Restraining order made banning contact with a named person. To pay compensation of £75, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £95.

Andy Nicholson

Coronation Avenue, Rothwell. Age: 55

On or between 01/12/19 to 09/12/19 at Kettering damaged property belonging to a man to the value of £10,200.

Plea: Guilty. Fined £325, to pay compensation of £632, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £33.

Rhys Martin

Clicker Close, Rothwell. Age: 26

On 22/04/20 at Billing Aquadrome were guilty while drunk of disorderly behaviour.

Verdict: Found guilty. Fined £40, to pay costs of £150 and a victim surcharge of £34.
