A Wellingborough woman has been given a five-year ASBO.
Claire Harte, 31, of Minerva Way, Wellingborough, was served with the anti-social behaviour order on Tuesday, April 14, after Kettering magistrates found she had acted in an anti-social manner, which caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more people.
The court was told the order, which was granted following an application by Northamptonshire Police, is “necessary to protect people from further anti-social acts by her.”
Harte is prohibited from entering the One-Stop Shop in Swinburne Road, Wellingborough, Aldi in Victoria Road, Wellingborough, and from contacting directly or indirectly a number of named people, for a period of five years, and not to act in an anti-social manner that causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The court was told that the order is necessary to protect people from further anti-social acts by Harte.
