Violent thugs stamped on man until he passed out in Northampton underpass - for a bike and a phone

A gang stamped on a man until he fell unconscious in a Northampton underpass during a violent robbery.

The 50-year-old man was attacked in the walkthrough near to Costcutter on Billing Brook Road, on Saturday, June 25.

He was approached by three offenders who pulled his jacket over his head and then proceeded to hit and stamp on him, resulting in the victim losing consciousness.

The offenders then took the victim’s mobile phone and bike before making off from the scene.

The incident took place between 4.15pm and 4.45pm.

All three robbers were white, in their late teens/early twenties and wore dark-coloured clothes and masks.

Officers investigating the robbery would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding this incident.
