A van driver copped a six-month ban and hefty fines after being caught speeding TWICE on the same stretch of the A45 in Northamptonshire.

This time the Volkswagen Caddy was registered at 78mph — nearly twice the temporary 40mph limit.

Northampton magistrates ordered Addis, of Hillcrest Avenue, Northampton, to pay a total of £1.086 in fines, costs and surcharges to fund victim services when he plead guilty at court earlier this month.
